FCA group cars are equipped with control units called convergence or blue&me that are used to connect your phone to your car as well as the TomTom navigator or the voice instructions of the navigator. Among the most common defects of the blue&me bluetooth control unit are the total kilometers that flash, the car battery runs out for no reason, the phone no longer connects to the car. The control unit is located in the glove compartment on the Fiat Grande Punto, Fiat Bravo, Lancia Delta, while on the Fiat 500 it is mounted behind the glove compartment that can be reached by removing the soft cover under the compartment. The blue&me control unit is mounted under the passenger seat on the Fiat Panda model from 2012 to 2020. On the Fiat Doblo, Fiat Qubo, Fiat Fiorino transport vehicles the control unit is mounted under the driver's seat. The Alfa Romeo Mito and Alfa Romeo Giulietta have the control unit mounted in the dashboard and can only be reached by removing the radio.
The solution?
Repair your control unit at a cost of €150 when possible, the repair of the blue and me control unit must be done on the bench so it is necessary to dismantle it and have it delivered to us either by hand or by courier, the maximum repair times are 2 working days in which the car can be safely used.
If your blue and me control unit is not repairable
must be replaced with a compatible one or with the same code, the cost varies depending on the type of control unit from €70 to €210 with a one-year warranty.
